How it works

Four short steps, and your details are already in.

About two minutes, start to finish.

  1. Enter your Invitation Code

It's the 9-digit number under the barcode on your mailer. We find your invitation and your authorized location — the participating dealership that sent it.

  2. Confirm it's you

You'll see your name and part of your address, so you know it's your invitation. Your details are already on file — no forms to fill in.

  3. Tell us where to text you

Mention a trade-in if you have one, then leave your mobile number. A financing specialist at the dealership texts you there. Nothing here checks your credit.

  4. Meet your specialist

Pick a time to visit right on the confirmation page, or set one up by text. Your specialist walks you through the options the dealership's lenders have for you.

Who it's for

Every credit story is welcome to start here.

Your specialist works with a range of lenders, so the conversation starts with your situation — not a score. Each lender decides on its own, and not everyone will qualify.

  • Rebuilding your creditAfter a bankruptcy, a repossession, late payments or a hard stretch.
  • Buying for the first timeLittle or no credit history yet, or a first loan in your own name.
  • Ready for a changeA payment that no longer fits, or a vehicle you're ready to trade in.
  • Encrypted in transit
  • Shared only with your dealership
  • Never sold

What to bring

For your visit to the dealership.

Missing one? Bring what you have — your specialist will tell you what else would help.

  1. Driver's license

    Valid and in your name.

  2. Proof of income

Recent pay stubs, or bank statements if you're self-employed.

  3. Proof of residence

A recent utility bill or similar, with your current address.

  4. Your down payment

    If you're making one.

  5. Trade-in title or payoff info

If you're trading in a vehicle.

Questions

Straight answers before you start.

Anything else? The dealership named on your mailer is happy to help.

Is this a real invitation?

Yes. Your mailer came from the participating dealership named on it, and your Invitation Code is tied to that mailing — enter it and you'll see your own name and part of your address before anything else happens. Nothing is bought or signed on this site.

Will responding affect my credit score?

No. Entering your Invitation Code, your trade-in and your contact details doesn't check your credit. Some dealerships also let you send an optional credit application after you respond; that one is a hard inquiry, which may affect your credit score, and you'll be asked for your permission before anything is sent.

How will the dealership reach me?

By text. A financing specialist at the dealership texts you at the mobile number you give, about your invitation and a time to visit. Reply whenever it suits you, or reply STOP to end the texts. You're never obligated to buy.

Will I be approved?

No one can promise that. Each lender makes its own decision based on your full credit application, and not everyone will qualify. Your specialist will walk you through whatever options the dealership finds for you.

Do I need a trade-in?

No. If you have a vehicle to trade in, telling us about it — year, make, model and mileage — helps your specialist plan your options. If you don't, or you'd rather not say, just skip that step.

Where do I find my Invitation Code?

On the front of your mailer: it's the 9-digit number printed under the barcode. Scanning the QR code with your phone's camera opens this site with your Invitation Code already filled in.

Does it cost anything?

No. There's no charge to use this site or to talk with the dealership's specialist, and you're never obligated to buy.

Is CreditLink a lender?

No. It connects you with a participating local dealership. Financing comes from third-party lenders through the dealership, and their terms depend on your full credit application.

Ready when you are.

Your invitation is good through the date printed on your mailer. Enter your Invitation Code and your specialist will text you.
